Linda Wapelhorst has found an interesting article on LTIs. Before you dismiss this as just alphabet soup, let me refresh or remind you what an LTI is and why you should care.
LTI are those cool tools that integrate so smoothly into Canvas, embedding in your pages. Canvas partners with these developers so you and your students don't have to leave the website, get separate logons, and otherwise disrupt the flow of your course to us. Some popular LTIs that work within Canvas include YouTube, Khan Academy, Quizlet and Zoom. You can see a list in the Settings tab of your course where they are referred to as Apps.
Anyway, the Campus Technology article provides some insight about what we can expect from these developers in the future.
