Apps to Help in Your Classroom: Socrative

Socrative is a free app that enables you to give your students quizzes and see the answers live as they submit them.  Students will use their smartphone, laptop, or tablet to answer the question. It's all the power of having a clicker without having to provide the equipment.

If your students do not have smart phones or tablets, and you are not in a computer lab, consider putting students into teams.  Each group can answer questions in a collaborative way.
