To promote the wireless charging capability of the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung re-purposed old phone cables that will, of course, be no longer needed. Samsung wove miles of cables from hundreds of phones into hammocks, seats and other public comforts. 

When the furniture was presented to the public in a park, "the brand introduced them as a way to recharge yourself, with complete freedom from the cord. At the same time, people were also given a glimpse of some of the phone's features beyond its wireless charging capabilities".
