Quick introduction to Canvas Commons?

Butler Community College was selected as a beta user for Canvas Commons. Next week we will begin internal testing before it becomes available to the Production side of Canvas.

Commons is a learning object repository that enables educators to find, import, and share resources. A digital library full of educational content, Commons allows Canvas users to share learning resources with other users as well as import learning resources into a Canvas course. We are excited about how the institution can benefit by having a global resource inside of Canvas for our Faculty.

Here is a brief video discussing Canvas Commons. Please comment with any ideas you may have in reference to utilization of Canvas Commons @ Butler. I will be posting more information as we learn about this exciting new feature of Canvas.
