From Education Tech news July 2010, here is a top ten list for teacher's favorite web and phone apps. Mostly classroom oriented, but they are still ideas worth sharing, and underline the fact that the use of apps is absolutely exploding.
And in that vein, I have just found that Khan is available on the iPhone! Yup, all you science and math teachers, who are (or should be) fans of Khan Academy, the apps are broken down by subject (calculus, chemistry, algebra). Just like the website www.khanacademy.org the app material consists of short videos, very focused and well paced on specific academic topics.
