Splicd

Often we want to use just a small segment of a YouTube video to make a point. Splicd is a site that allows you to trim YouTube videos and supplies you with a link or embed code for the portion of the video you wish to display. Below is a video I trimmed on Splicd. As you can see, it is possible to embed the trimmed video just as with any full length YouTube video.

Allowing Students to Share Documents in ANGEL 7.4

Did you know?
You can allow students to share documents as a small team or as the entire class on the Students team? This is a great feature in ANGEL. Students can upload a file such as a Word document and everyone on the team can access it. To edit a file, students would need to download and rename the file, make changes, and upload it again.

However, if students add Content and create a new ANGEL page, everyone with team access can view and edit the page. This would make for some truly interactive collaboration on projects.

Click  for Instructions to set-up file sharing in ANGEL.

Only2Clicks

Only2Clicks allows you to create a personal start page with visuals of your most visited web pages. As the name indicates, it takes only 2 clicks to access the pages you visit on a daily basis or several times throughout the day. This is also a great way to organize your bookmarks and put your mouse on speed dial. Check out the video below for a better idea of how to use Only2Clicks.

Reset your Ink Cartridge & Save Money

If you are like me you use a lot of printer ink - and hate paying the high prices for new ink cartridges. Most ink cartridges have a small circuit board that has memory built in. The memory tracks the amount of ink remaining in the cartridge. As shown in the video, this report can be inaccurate, causing you to replace the cartridge before it is empty. Watch the video to learn how to easily reset the memory on the ink cartridge and save some $$$.

krunchd

Krunchd is a site that allows you to create one link for several sites. This way you can, with just one click, access multiple sites or provide multiple sites for your students. You can even assign the name of the link if you wish. This way it can be something meaningful to help you remember the subject of the links.
Check out these samples. You can click the left and right arrows to navigate or use the drop down menu to access a particular site. These are located in the upper right side of the page.
